At the heart of this wallet lies carbon fibre from Nigel Mansell's Lotus 95T Front Wing Endplate, as raced in the 1984 Formula One championship. 

Featuring the original hand-painted John Player Special decals. Black and gold. Applied in the Lotus factory over 40 years ago. Not reproductions. Not recreations. The originals.

This is the most iconic livery in Lotus history, and this is the first and only Sixty One release to feature these colours.

Each piece is verified through its carbon fibre weave, dimensions, screw and bolt hole placements, component marks, usage patina, and those unmistakable hand-painted JPS decals.

Every wallet comes with a certificate of authenticity documenting its origin and connection to the 1984 season.

Almost too nice to use

Bought it as a gift for a friend who was hosting an event in Vegas for the F1 race. He was blown away at the quality, how unique it was (guy has everything and I needed something "cool" that he doesn't already own) and has said more than once, "its almost to nice to use it". I’ve only had the wallet for a little while, but so far, this is my impression of it:

Pros:
Beautiful
Feels very durable
Exactly as advertised

Cons:
Will probably improve after using it a bit, but the card slots are a bit tight

Pretty collectible

Leather, looks, the feel - all are great. It was the perfect gift for a ferrari fan.. Oh the RED!

Quality had one very minor issue which could be major for some other people. Metal plate in corner had white thread sticking out, which is 1min fix with a needle so it was totally not an issue, however for some it may look a faulty thing (which is not, but). So just an advice for makers to look over final product more carefully.

How big is the wallet and how many cards can this wallet hold?

The wallet measures 110mm x 67mm. The has 6 card slots plus a slat for cash. We list capacity as 8 cards as this includes 2 cards in each the two largest slots.

Is this suitable as an everyday wallet or just for display?

Absolutely designed for daily use! The luxury Italian leather is durable, and the carbon fibre is securely embedded. Many customers use these as their primary wallet and enjoy having a piece of F1 history in their pocket.

What makes the leather in this wallet so special?

Badalassi Carlo Minerva leather is vegetable-tanned as opposed to a chrome tanned leather, used on cheaper (and some expensive!) wallets. This will age beautifully for a lifetime and unlike chrome-tan leather, the surface will never come off. Badalassi Carlo are members of the Consorzio Vera Pella Italiana. This organisation preserves, and guarantees the production of vegetable-tanned leather made in Tuscany through its quality trademark

How do I care for the leather?

The vegetable-tanned leather requires minimal care. Avoid excessive moisture and consider using a leather conditioner every 6-12 months to maintain its suppleness and appearance.

Is this a good investment piece?

While we can't guarantee appreciation, previous limited F1 memorabilia has historically held or increased value. This is the final release from this specific Formula One car part, making it irreplaceable.

How limited is "limited edition"?
