I've been using this daily for nearly 9 months before a fraying issue on the edges popped up(Nick in a review before mine seems to be experiencing the same issue). but aside from this and the limitations of it's dimensions/format, it's been a pretty solid companion. Due to the more natural tones with the dyes for this offering, it ages from the oils and use patterns. Provided your daily use requirements doesn't involve thick stacks of bills and under 5-6 credit card thickness items, this does a solid job. If you need to carry a whole lot more though, a larger format offering would probably be best. Still love mine but will need to send it back to the shop for a touch-up(already contacted the boys but have been too caught up with life to get it sent out). Will try to follow up with before/after pictures after the repairs in case anyone needs to take that into consideration.
Wears well. However, some of the wear is not ideal. The outer rubber edge has been slowly peeling.
The worst aspect is the labelling is wearing off. It would have been really nice it had been laser engraved or was printed with a more permanent solution.
Hi Nick, thank you for your review. Apologies for your issue with the edging paint coming off - we use a slightly different edging paint now, which wont be prone to peeling off. I bought this as a gift for my boss as a congrats for hitting getting our Series A funding. He's a big RedBull fan--even has one of his Radicals painted in a RedBull livery. He has the money to drop on pretty much whatever he wants, so it it's a bit of buying for someone who has everything situation. Thanks for making something so unique and that he'd appreciate.
Neat that the carbon fiber comes from the Canadian Grand Prix. Wallet is slimmer than it looks in photos but fits what I need.
Solid construction. The carbon piece is well-integrated and the whole wallet has a premium feel. Been using it daily for two months and it's holding up well!
