At the heart of this exclusive wallet lies authenticated carbon fibre from Carlos Sainz's 2022 Formula 1 car. This genuine piece was part of the front wing endplate that crashed during the dramatic Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, where heavy rain and zero visibility sent Sainz sliding into the barriers at Turn 11 on lap 1.
All the carbon fibre featured in this collection is from the right-side front wing endplate, authenticated due to its damage consistent with the crash and showcasing the raw beauty of genuine F1 carbon.
This is the ONLY release using carbon fibre from this crashed front wing endplate.

Quality had one very minor issue which could be major for some other people. Metal plate in corner had white thread sticking out, which is 1min fix with a needle so it was totally not an issue, however for some it may look a faulty thing (which is not, but). So just an advice for makers to look over final product more carefully.

How do I know the carbon fibre is really from Carlos Sainz's 2022 F1 car?
The wing's authenticity has been expertly verified by analysing crash damage patterns which are consistent with the front-right impact sustained during the incident. The authenticity is further supported by the scarcity of front wing endplate components from this era, as the integrated wing design rarely allows for individual endplate pieces to become available, unless resulting from a crash.
How big is the wallet and how many cards can this wallet hold?
The wallet measures 110mm x 67mm. The has 6 card slots plus a slat for cash. We list capacity as 8 cards as this includes 2 cards in each the two largest slots.
Is this suitable as an everyday wallet or just for display?

What makes the leather in this wallet so special?
Badalassi Carlo Minerva leather is vegetable-tanned as opposed to a chrome tanned leather, used on cheaper (and some expensive!) wallets. This will age beautifully for a lifetime and unlike chrome-tan leather, the surface will never come off. Badalassi Carlo are members of the Consorzio Vera Pella Italiana. This organisation preserves, and guarantees the production of vegetable-tanned leather made in Tuscany through its quality trademark
How do I care for the leather?
The vegetable-tanned leather requires minimal care. Avoid excessive moisture and consider using a leather conditioner every 6-12 months to maintain its suppleness and appearance.
Is this a good investment piece?
While we can't guarantee appreciation, previous limited F1 memorabilia has historically held or increased value. This is the final release from this specific Formula One car part, making it irreplaceable.
How limited is "limited edition"?
